Grupotec And Huawei Take Spain Together Grupotec And Huawei Take Spain Together Recently in Shanghai, Huawei and Grupotec jointly announced their partnership for a 168-MW solar photovoltaic (PV) cumulative project in Spain.
The project combines a series of solar installations that include both government-awarded and private PPA projects.
Grupotec is heralded as the biggest and most influential EPC company in Spain, having invested in and successfully developed solar projects throughout Europe, America, Asia, and Africa.
For this 168-MW project, Grupotec is project developer and EPC, while Huawei will provide its new 1500V SUN2000-100KTL string inverters.
Huaweiâs latest, fully-digitalised, and uniquely patented SUN2000-100KTL inverters can deliver yields at 2% higher, smarter O&M which in turn reduces LCOE, and assures safety and reliability.
Together, Grupotec and Huawei are modernising the Spanish solar industry to put it on the map once again while building roads to a Digital PV World.
Olallo Villoldo Bellón, Grupotec Board Chairman said: âHuawei will be the exclusive string inverter provider of this project.
The company has proven its worth during our previous projects in terms of outstanding PR, incredible reliability, and extremely easy O&M.
Meanwhile, its vision towards digitalisation and smart trends of the solar industry matches our strategy.
There is no doubt that Huawei is the right choice for us, now and in the long run.â.
